Engineering Manager - GenAI Platform Development Experience

What you will do

• Lead the GenAI Platform Development Experience team, owning planning and execution and growing a high-caliber group of cloud engineers.
• Boost company productivity by developing and promoting GenAI tools, coding assistants, and automated workflows.
• Refine the GenAI Platform through deep insights by developing and leveraging analytics to increase adoption and understanding of usage patterns.
• Provide technical oversight, reviewing designs, defining architecture and APIs, and contributing code when needed to unblock progress.
• Act as a product manager for selected platform capabilities, translating business requirements into problem statements and driving prioritization.
• Run core processes end-to-end, including on-call rotation, incident response, customer support triage, and active bug management.

Requirements

• 8+ years in software engineering and 2+ years as an engineering manager (or exceptional tech/team leads with informal people-leadership experience).
• Technical bar at senior-engineer level, able to understand, drive, and design complex distributed systems and comfortable with code reviews and prototypes.
• Experience building and operating shared services or platforms used by many teams (multi-tenant concerns, contracts/SDKs, permissions).
• Proven delivery at scale, having shipped and operated large, real-world systems at meaningful scale with strong on-call and postmortem habits.
• Cloud-native execution experience with containers/Kubernetes and at least one major cloud (AWS, GCP).
• Excellent written and verbal communication and flexibility to accommodate meetings with partners across the globe.

Nice to have

• GenAI production exposure: LLM serving, RAG, guardrails/safety, evaluation frameworks, and cost/latency tuning.
• Familiarity with GenAI tooling frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, n8n.
• Understanding of cybersecurity domain knowledge and security operations.
