Middle Fullstack Engineer (Igaming)

TL;DR

Middle Fullstack Engineer (Igaming): Developing the notification transport system product using NodeJS, Redis, Kafka and MongoDB for backend services and React for the front-end interface with an accent on seamless server-client communication. Focus on analyzing existing functionality and transforming it using the latest web technologies.

Location: Hybrid work schedule after the first three months. Bucharest, Romania.

What you will do

• Adhere to internal coding standards and promote clean code practices.
• Actively participate in code reviews, ensuring coding standards are followed.
• Identify opportunities for refactoring and improving the codebase's scalability, stability, and performance.
• Implement improvements and offer solutions to further improve scalability of the project.
• Ensure all code is documented, adhering to coding standards and documentation practices.
• Handle incidents according to defined SLAs and project processes.

Requirements

• At least three years of previous experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in JavaScript and Typescript
• Proven experience with REST web services and/or web APIs
• Ability to understand technical architecture
• Database experience, SQL & NoSQL
• Knowledge of OOP and Data Access / Management

Nice to have

• Experience using performance profiling tools and using different performance improvement techniques
• NodeJS experience
• NestJS, ReactJS, Redis, Kafka
• Docker & Kubernetes knowledge
• Unix experience
