Unreal Programmer (Unreal Engine)

Location: Quebec City or Montreal, Canada; 100% remote work is available only for residents of the province of Quebec, with hybrid and 100% onsite options also available.

What you will do

• Participate in development meetings, discuss ongoing work, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Create prototypes and develop new game features.
• Program robust systems and high-quality C++ code that meet technical and design requirements.
• Integrate 3D models, animations, user interfaces, visual effects, and audio.
• Develop tools that improve team efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews and testing to maintain quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
• Approximately five years of programming experience, including at least one year with Unreal Engine 4 or 5.
• Excellent written and spoken French and English; English is required for collaboration with English-speaking partners.
• Ability to travel internationally when required.
• Ability to prioritize multiple requests, work autonomously, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in cross-platform game development.
• Diplomacy, resourcefulness, and versatility.
