Location: Hybrid in Utrecht, Netherlands. Mandatory office days are Monday and Thursday with the team, and Friday with ECP. Residing in the Netherlands is a must.

Salary: €3,447–€4,923 gross per month

What you will do

• Develop and maintain analytics models for transaction monitoring of 8+ million hirify.global customers.
• Provide data insights to Transaction Monitoring stakeholders by answering ad hoc questions and automating recurrent analyses.
• Work on data products such as dashboards and structured data.
• Contribute to the Transaction Monitoring Data Model, a sophisticated PySpark-based code repository.
• Translate business requirements into concrete improvements, applying strong software engineering principles.
• Write and optimize production-ready Python and PySpark code.

Requirements

• Recent MSc graduate or PhD with less than 2 years of working experience.
• Background in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Econometrics, or a related field.
• Strong analytics skills and programming skills in Python.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Motivation to build models that realize measurable impact in fighting financial crime.
• Must be residing in the Netherlands.
