What you will do

• Design and develop the firm’s proprietary, high-performance FI E-Trading platform encompassing all fixed income products.
• Understand RUN, Axes, RFQs workflow for Dealer to Client markets such as MarketAxess, TradeWeb, Bloomberg.
• Work alongside traders and quantitative analysts to specify and build real-time trading applications.
• Support and enhance existing infrastructure and applications across various technologies (ION, Java, Kdb).
• Drive implementation and design with emphasis on high availability, scalability, and reusability.
• Mentor junior developers and promote framework reusability across front office teams.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of financial service experience.
• Strong design, coding, testing and debugging skills.
• Strong experience in front office trading systems with emphasis in E-Trading.
• 10+ years of Java programming experience.
• Strong multithreaded programming experience.
• General Fixed Income Pricing and Analytic knowledge.
• Knowledge of Client Markets such as MarketAxess, Bloomberg, TradeWeb.
• Knowledge of Credit Buy-Side/Sell-Side market structure.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of C# and Javascript.
• Knowledge of FIX protocol.
• Knowledge of ION or Broadway API.
• Knowledge of KDB/Q.
