Audit IT Assurance Intern: Delivering IT audit services and testing information systems controls in support of financial statement audits with an accent on identifying security and risk management issues and overall process improvement. Location: Hybrid in San Jose, CA, United States, requiring in-person attendance at least two days per week at a GT office or client site. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Salary: $42.50 per hour

What you will do

• Deliver IT audit services and test information systems controls for financial statement audits.
• Apply current knowledge of IT trends to identify security and risk management issues.
• Maintain professionalism and rapport with clients, managing expectations and deadlines.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives.
• Participate in recruiting and business development activities as needed.
• Meet or exceed IT Assurance metrics.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, MIS or a related field.
• Desire to pursue CPA, CISA, CISSP, CIA, or CISM license/certification.
• Some related work experience in public accounting or IT General Controls (ITGCs) auditing.
• Information Security experience or information security training is required.
• Possess exceptional client service, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• A Master’s degree.
• An understanding of generally accepted practices for testing Key Reports and Application Controls.
