Mid Backend Web Developer (PHP): Building and updating modules of the company's custom-made CMS, responsible for coding and modifying the company's websites with an accent on integrating data from various APIs and databases. Focus on writing well-designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices, checking code quality of Junior Back-End Web Developers.

Location: Hybrid Work Model (up to 2 days working from home) in Larnaca, Cyprus

What you will do

• Build and update modules of company’s custom-made CMS.
• Code and modify the company’s websites.
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
• Integrate data from various APIs and databases.
• Check code quality of Junior Back-End Web Developers and help them with their tasks.
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities.

Requirements

• BSc/BA in Computer Science or relevant field.
• 4+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of at least one of the following programming languages: PHP, Python.
• Knowledge of web technologies such as Javascript and familiar with frameworks/libraries such as jQuery, Angular or React.
• Basic knowledge of modern HTML/CSS.
• Native or near-native proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Python Django framework would be considered an advantage.
