Location: This role requires a hybrid work mode (3 days of work from the office in Prague, Czech Republic). Relocation and immigration support are available for Prague, Czech Republic.

What you will do

• Write high-quality, efficient code in Python.
• Contribute to architectural design and code reviews.
• Proactively address technical issues and risks.
• Develop and implement innovative tools or methodologies.
• Collaborate closely with the technical director.
• Actively transfer knowledge and skills to less experienced team members.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Experience building real-time or performance-sensitive applications using Python or C++.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced, multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with debugging, profiling, and optimization techniques.
• Understanding of client-server game architecture.
• Strong communication skills in English language.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in game development, ideally with at least one shipped AAA title.
• Team leadership experience, mentoring, guiding, and work allocation.
