What you will do

• Manage Epic optimization and implementation projects, including timelines, build, testing, and deployment.
• Provide timely production support and troubleshooting for Epic Cadence and Prelude.
• Act as a liaison with operational leaders to gather insights and provide guidance.
• Work extensively with Epic tools such as work queues, decision trees, Book It, and Fast Pass.
• Create detailed documentation, including workflows, test scripts, and tip sheets.
• Participate in on-call rotation for application team support.

Requirements

• Epic Certifications: Cadence, Prelude, RTE, and Welcome.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in Epic application development, including optimization, implementation, and production support.
• Proven ability to manage all aspects of optimization/project implementation.
• Strong experience with Epic tools: work queues, decision trees, Book It, Fast Pass, and RTE query chaining/plan mapping.
• Strong documentation skills for workflows, test scripts, and tip sheets.
• Willingness to travel onsite to Providence, Rhode Island as needed (<10%) and participate in on-call rotation.

Nice to have

• Preferred Epic Certifications: Campaigns, Call Management, and MyChart.
• ServiceNow incident, change, and project management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
