Hytech group has around 1500 employees in Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, Taiwan. From November 2023 we've launched a new office in Cyprus to develop in-house solutions for risk management, anti-fraud operations and cybersecurity.
We’re looking for an experienced Automation QA Engineer (Java) to join our team and help ensure our products are reliable, high-performing, and deliver the best possible user experience. You’ll play a key role in designing and maintaining automated tests for both web applications and microservices, working closely with developers and product teams to ship high-quality features faster.
Our Stack:
• Java, Junit, Hamcrest, Playwright;
• OkHttp, Postman;
• Postgres, ClickHouse;
• Allure TestOps;
• GitLab CI;
• Kafka.
What you’ll do:
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for UI and API testing;
• Implement automated test cases to cover functional, regression, and integration scenarios;
• Collaborate with Frontend and Backend engineers, designers, and product managers to clarify requirements and define testing strategies;
• Continuously improve test coverage and optimize the CI/CD integration of test suites.
• Analyze defects, report bugs, and assist in root cause investigations;
• Contribute to test architecture, participate in code reviews, and help shape QA automation best practices;
• Support monitoring and performance checks to ensure system stability in production.
You’ll need:
• 3+ years of experience in QA, with at least 2 years in automation testing;
• Strong knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and types;
• Hands-on experience testing web applications and APIs;
• Proficiency with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, or PyTest;
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar);
• Solid understanding of REST, WebSocket, GraphQL, and client–server architecture;
• Familiarity with API testing tools: Postman, Swagger, or similar;
• Jira, YouTrack, or similar;
• Experience with performance testing (JMeter, Locust);
• Familiarity with Docker, K8s;
• English: B1 or above.
