CloudOps Engineer

What you will do

• Build and modernize distributed, fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Azure, AWS, and Kubernetes.
• Act as a domain specialist, providing mentorship and partnering with cross-functional teams on cloud aspects like architecture, networking, security, and IAM.
• Provide PR review and architectural design guidance for developer-contributed Terraform PRs.
• Respond to service desk tickets for operational assistance, aiming to automate and streamline processes.
• Assist in integrating cloud environments and systems from mergers and acquisitions.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and act as a point of escalation for team members.

Requirements

• Typically 6+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Extensive understanding of AWS applications and principles.
• Expertise in Terraform, including complex operations, module writing, and state management.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, AWS ECS, or Rancher.
• Experience with software supply chain systems such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and TravisCI.
• Deep understanding of at least one programming language.
