What you will do

• Brainstorm new game ideas and evaluate their feasibility.
• Create mathematical models for games using spreadsheets and bespoke tools.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure correct implementation and debugging of maths models.
• Creatively balance games to provide good gameplay experiences and create profitable slots.
• Research and analyze successful slot games, features, and balances to make data-driven decisions.
• Produce documentation detailing the implementation and theory of the models.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Maths, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proficiency with Excel formulas.
• Good knowledge of probability and statistical modelling.
• Ability to produce and maintain technical documents.
• Ability to clearly communicate concepts and methods.
• Critical thinking and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience with a programming language (C++ / C#).
• Knowledge of Excel VBA.
• Familiarity with Monte Carlo methods and Markov Chains.
• Experience in statistical data analysis.
• An interest in gambling or prior experience in the gambling industry.
