What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain global infrastructure for Equities sales and trading.
• Work across problem domains and software stacks to create leverage in Equities business lines.
• Implement high-throughput, low latency order management and electronic trading platforms.
• Develop adaptable algorithmic trading platforms.
• Design and implement adaptive, robust trading controls.

Requirements

• Solid industry experience programming in Java, Python, and Shell scripting in a Linux/UNIX environment.
• Deep understanding of control design principles and their application in complex financial systems.
• Proven ability to translate business and operational risks into effective technical control requirements.
• Strong ability to assess the system-wide impact of control implementations.
• Ability to independently gather requirements, design technical specifications, and architect robust solutions, including proficiency with UML.
• Strong analytical skills to identify root causes and evaluate strategic solutions for complex technical challenges.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
• Experience in a hands-on front-office development role
• Basic web development experience, including the ability to build simple React applications.
• Proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin is a plus
