Senior Data Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid work in Athens or Limassol, Greece/Cyprus

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for transformation and preparation.
• Prepare datasets for exploratory data analysis, A/B testing, model training, and validation.
• Ensure data quality and consistency across multiple data sources.
• Deploy machine learning models and AI tools to production environments.
• Build and maintain data warehouses while supporting business intelligence tools.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and cross-functional stakeholders; mentor junior data engineers.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in data engineering and Python software development.
• Experience with Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Extensive experience with relational and non-relational databases, machine learning, big data processing, and analytics.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English is required.
