Location: This is a hybrid role based in Cyprus. A relocation package is offered for candidates from other regions who are willing to relocate to Cyprus. Candidates must confirm they do not reside in or perform work from Russia, Belarus, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Crimea, or the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic, Luhansk People’s Republic, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions.

What you will do

• Create and manage credit approval strategies during the loan origination process.
• Increase loan approval levels while maintaining acceptable risk metrics.
• Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, PEP, and antifraud checks.
• Collaborate with data providers and various internal teams (product, finance, legal, DWH, analytics, tech).
• Optimize underwriting costs per loan issued.
• Create requirements for reporting to monitor key metrics like conversion from application to approval and NPL.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in risk analytics or portfolio management.
• Experience in lending for individuals or SMEs.
• Experience working with KYC providers.
• Good knowledge of banking processes.
• Knowledge of SQL.

Nice to have

• Experience in LATAM lending operations.
• Knowledge of Python/JavaScript.
• Experience in usage of alternative data for scoring.
