What you will do
- Design and execute global load testing strategies using k6 and JMeter.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in backend, database, messaging, and network systems.
- Set up and tune performance testing infrastructure and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze performance issues, form hypotheses, design experiments, and implement fixes.
- Translate technical performance insights into business risks and opportunities for stakeholders.
- Champion a performance-as-product-quality culture within engineering teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years in Performance/SRE/Load Testing.
- Strong programming skills in Golang, Kotlin, or Java.
- Expertise with k6 and/or JMeter scripting DSL for performance testing.
- Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure for high-load systems (EKS, EC2, ALB/NLB).
- Experience with profiling (Golang, Kafka, Redis, DB tuning) and automation of load testing with QG.
- Possess an SRE mindset (RED/USE, SLO, error budgets).
