What you will do

• Operate and maintain on-premises Debian Linux servers, managing OS-level configuration, networking, and system services.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management using Chef, following GitOps principles.
• Manage and operate hybrid connectivity across GCP, AWS, Megaport, and on-prem data centers.
• Design and maintain VPC networking, routing, firewall rules, and configure BGP routing.
• Ensure high availability, redundancy, and fault tolerance of network connectivity.
• Troubleshoot network and connectivity issues across cloud and on-prem layers.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience administering Debian-based systems in production environments.
• Solid understanding of bare-metal infrastructure operations and deep knowledge of Linux networking (TCP/IP).
• Practical experience with configuration management tools (Chef/Puppet/Salt) and strong experience with Terraform.
• Confident scripting skills (Bash/Ruby/Python) and experience with Git-based workflows.
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP and AWS, with practical knowledge of VPC architecture and BGP.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot production infrastructure, understanding load balancers (NGINX, HAProxy) and centralized logging (Graylog).
• English proficiency: B1+.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes clusters.
• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix).
• Experience with Ceph or other distributed storage systems.
• Experience with virtualization platforms (Proxmox VE, VMware, KVM).
