What you will do

• Handle user support requests and system issues as the main point of contact.
• Investigate, replicate, and document bugs and data irregularities.
• Manually test new features, fixes, and updates before release.
• Create and maintain clear test cases, release notes, and user support documentation.
• Collaborate with developers to prioritise and resolve issues efficiently.
• Support user onboarding, provide training, and gather feedback to improve the system.

Requirements

• Background in support, quality assurance, or testing within a software or data-focused setting.
• Good knowledge of manual testing processes and how to track and manage bugs.
• Basic skills in SQL (ideally MySQL) and the ability to explore and analyse data using queries or simple scripts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Clear and confident communicator, able to work well with both technical teams and non-technical users.
• Well-organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with testing web front-end applications, especially those built with Vue.js.
• Familiarity with issue-tracking tools like JIRA or GitHub Issues.
• Understanding of financial systems, business processes or internal operational tools.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
