Software Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Software Engineer (Fintech): Developing a new platform for Actimize's cloud-based financial crime fighting platform with an accent on data and developer experience foundations. Focus on building a solid platform for software developers, data engineers, and data scientists to create excellent analytics solutions fast and at scale.

Location: Hybrid, 2 days working from the office and 3 days of remote work each week in Raanana, Israel

What you will do

• Design and develop technical solutions in a public cloud environment.
• Work as part of the development team towards the application with aggressive deadlines.
• Fix bugs and ensure enterprise-grade quality.
• Adhere to agile development principles, improving all aspects of the scrum process.
• Function as a subject matter expert in product components.
• Contribute to process improvement activities by maintaining the system, troubleshooting problems, and fixing bugs.

Requirements

• BSC/BA degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience with Java.
• Experience with RDBMS or NoSQL DB.
• Familiar with Agile methodology and CI/CD process.

• Experience with AWS services and technologies like DynamoDB, EKS, IAM, etc.
• Experience with AWS development to the production environment.
• Experience in Big Data technologies like Kafka, Flink, Spark.
• Experience with microservices and mainly docker/container, spring boot applications running on K8S.
• Experience with DevOps practices and common tools like Jenkins, Terraform.
• Experience working in a SaaS product company.
