Location: This is a hybrid role, requiring work from the office 2 days a week in Montreal or Quebec City. Candidates must be legally entitled to work full-time in Canada for the 15-week internship duration and currently studying in the province of Québec.

What you will do

• Actively participate in daily stand-up meetings to discuss progress, roadblocks, and plans.
• Manage and resolve assigned Jira tickets, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Contribute to real-world coding, testing, and deploying solutions for hirify.global's clients.
• Develop skills by observing and applying best practices from your mentor in project management and software development.
• Participate in code review sessions, offering and receiving constructive feedback.

Requirements

• Currently studying Software Engineering or Computer Science in a Bachelor's degree or higher in the province of Québec.
• Ability to work from the office 2 days a week.
• Legally entitled to work full-time in Canada for the 15-week internship duration.
• Experience in Java, Python, and infrastructure as code.
• Interest in microservices, large-scale systems, and distributed systems.
• Completed a prior internship.
