What you will do
- Perform front-end design and verification of IC design blocks for semiconductor cores.
- Define architecture, logic design, synthesis, and develop constraints.
- Conduct design verification through simulation, formal verification, and timing analysis from physical implementation.
- Design logic blocks from system requirements documents and debug designs with Verilog simulation.
- Be familiar with the entire ASIC design and implementation flow.
- Work independently as well as part of a large team spanning multiple geographies.
Requirements
- Education: BS/MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent is required.
- Experience: 6+ years with MS or 8+ years with BS in ASIC design / implementation is required.
- Proficiency with complete ASIC or standard product implementation flow from RTL synthesis to timing analysis / closure.
- Proficiency with TCL/Perl scripting.
- Experience with synthesis tools like Synopsys Design Compiler/DC topo or Cadence RTL compiler.
- Experience with timing analysis tools like Primetime for high-frequency designs and advanced technology nodes.
- Familiarity with formal verification tools (Synopsys Formality / Cadence Conformal) and Spyglass Lint.
- Understanding of liberty LIB models for timing and power analysis of RTL and gate-level netlists.
- Familiarity with DFT (design for test) and scan methodology.
- Experience with version control systems (svn, git, etc).
- English: B2 required.
