TL;DR
Technical Artist (Unreal Engine): Integrating and contributing to an innovative experiences team with an accent on in-depth shader and post-process knowledge. Focus on troubleshooting art pipelines, optimizing game art, and collaborating closely with code and art teams.
Location: Must be based in Liverpool, United Kingdom.

What you will do
- Troubleshoot art pipelines and provide effective solutions.
- Suggest optimisations for all aspects of art within game development.
- Create and optimise material shaders and Blueprints.
- Work closely with code and art teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Actively participate in group critiques and iterate on work.
- Follow and recreate established art styles to maintain consistency.
Requirements
- Experience creating and optimising shaders.
- Proven technical expertise with Maya.
- Strong VFX skills.
- Experience in Unreal Engine 4 and Unreal Engine 5.
- Blueprint experience.
- Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with iterative development and rapid gameplay prototyping.
- Console development experience.
- Lighting skills.
- Houdini knowledge.
