What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of software engineers building scalable, high-performance systems that handle billions of requests per day.
• Drive technical vision and architecture for services that are flexible, reliable, and maintainable.
• Foster a culture of innovation where your team experiments, iterates pragmatically, and simplifies complex problems.
• Partner cross-functionally with product managers, data scientists, and other engineering teams to define roadmaps and deliver business impact.
• Mentor and grow engineers to strengthen their technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Own operational excellence ensuring your team's systems meet performance, reliability, and quality standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 7+ years of working directly within engineering teams experience.
• 3+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems experience.
• 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services experience.
• Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software development life cycle.
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
• Ability to motivate and direct the team to use Gen AI tools efficiently.

Nice to have

• Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership.
• Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching, and managing teams of Software Engineers.
