Salary: $133,180–$163,140 USD annually

What you will do

• Be a subject matter expert on environment art creation, including foliage, props, architectural, and weapons.
• Collaborate with artists and engineers to integrate content into engine for prototypes and early game production.
• Work alongside AAA developers, providing technical support and solving problems across the character pipeline.
• Evaluate internal workflows and tools to identify critical investment areas and advocate for impactful improvements.
• Partner with community engagement and documentation teams to build tutorials and sample content.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or proven experience in a related CG field or computer science.
• 6+ years experience in the game industry, having worked on titles on multiple platforms.
• Strong understanding of modern real-time engines and performance optimization.
• High proficiency and expertise in texturing, modeling, materials, and lighting.
• Familiarity with Substance Designer, Painter, Maya, and Blender.
• Must be able to work hybrid from San Mateo, CA, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in mobile game development.
• Level design experience.
