What you will do

• Contribute to automated testing for Java microservices and Python AWS Lambda functions.
• Collaborate with developers to strengthen unit, component, and contract testing practices.
• Support the implementation of a microservices testing strategy covering various testing approaches.
• Help create component tests using Podman and Dev Containers to reduce integration issues.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines supporting trunk-based development.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and encourage quality-focused practices like BDD.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Java development and test automation.
• Understanding of microservices testing strategies (unit, component, contract, and E2E).
• Solid exposure to the AWS platform.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and trunk-based development practices.
• Experience with containers & orchestration (Docker, EKS) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Proficiency with advanced testing tools like Pact, Rest-Assured, Mockito, and Localstack.
