What you will do

• Proactively identify, develop, and pitch stories that elevate the brand and leadership in the digital assets ecosystem.
• Build and maintain relationships with tier-one regional media outlets, crypto-native journalists, fintech publications, and influencers.
• Position executives and subject matter experts as thought leaders through op-eds, media commentary, events, panels, and industry reports.
• Support comms related to regulatory engagement, licensing updates, or policy milestones.
• Partner closely with legal, risk, and government affairs to navigate sensitive messaging and issue response.
• Create content for regional audiences across owned, earned, and social channels.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in communications, with at least 3-5 years in the crypto, blockchain, fintech, or broader digital assets space.
• Proven track record of managing high-stakes media relations, especially market expansions, or regulatory developments.
• Deep understanding of Asia’s digital asset landscape, including local market dynamics, media ecosystems, and regulatory environments.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills in English; proficiency in one or more Asian language.
• Background in tech, fintech, or financial services communications with strong exposure to blockchain or digital assets.
• Strong network of main stream, crypto-native and fintech media contacts across Asia.
