What you will do
- Partner with Engineering, Product, and Design teams to define quality strategies and lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Establish and drive adoption of test automation best practices across the organization.
- Ensure operational excellence through release health monitoring and continuous feedback loops.
- Architect scalable quality platforms (automation, CI/CD, smoke tests, contract tests).
- Deliver impactful solutions that improve test coverage, release confidence, and product stability.
- Hire, grow, and technically guide a diverse team of quality engineers.
Requirements
- Experience managing quality engineering teams, including automation engineers.
- Strong technical background in test frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium) and hands-on testing of consumer-facing products.
- Proven ability to build scalable quality engineering strategies using data-driven decision-making.
- Record of coaching engineers to achieve career growth and high performance.
- Excellent communication skills to influence and align with stakeholders across functions.
- Must be based in Menlo Park, CA, with in-person attendance expected at least 4 days per week.
