What you will do

• Draft, edit, and coordinate approval of media materials including press releases, Q&As, and fact sheets.
• Maintain daily contact with journalists, responding to inquiries and proactively pitching stories.
• Assist in organizing and executing press events, influencer activations, and stakeholder meetings.
• Manage media monitoring, reporting, and internal trackers such as coverage clippings and media lists.
• Monitor competitor activity and industry trends, providing summaries and insights to the team.
• Ensure message consistency across paid, earned, shared, and owned media channels.
• Liaise with internal departments (marketing, brand, legal, product) for messaging alignment.
• Act as a brand guardian in external communication, upholding tone, language, and core values.

Requirements

• 0–3 years of experience in PR, corporate communications, media relations, or journalism.
• Strong sense of autonomy and ownership of tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with media databases, monitoring platforms (e.g., Meltwater, Cision), and CMS/social media tools.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
• Team player with a proactive mindset and willingness to learn.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in an agency, a startup, or a media environment.
• Knowledge of crisis communication protocols or reputation management.
• Exposure to public affairs or stakeholder engagement.
