What you will do
- Design, implement, and maintain a medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) for analytics and downstream consumption.
- Build logical and physical data models, including strong entity-relationship (ER) modeling, for core business domains.
- Design and implement automated data quality checks and monitoring frameworks across datasets.
- Build analytics-ready datasets optimized for BI tools and self-service consumption.
- Define, document, and socialize data definitions, metrics, and KPIs across business teams.
- Implement and enforce RBAC and data security best practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data modeling and data architecture, including dimensional and normalized modeling.
- Proven experience building medallion-style data architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and orchestrating data pipelines using dbt, Airflow, or similar tools.
- Deep understanding of entity-relationship modeling and core data design principles.
- Experience with BI and analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Strong understanding of RBAC, data security, and data governance concepts.
Nice to have
- Experience with data quality frameworks or tools (e.g., dbt tests, Great Expectations).
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale analytics and executive reporting.
- Familiarity with analytics engineering and modern cloud data platforms.
- Experience working for a SaaS security company and building Product adoption metrics.
