Bi Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Fully remote with flexible hours within the CET time zone from any location of your choice across Europe, including the EEA, the UK, Switzerland, and non-EEA European countries such as Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, Montenegro, Turkey, and the Western Balkans.

What you will do

• Prepare regular and ad‑hoc reports across various business domains (finance, sales, marketing, etc.) using Tableau/Grafana/Metabase.
• Streamline data collection, processing, and aggregation workflows using scripts (SQL) to reduce manual effort and accelerate report refresh cycles.
• Design and maintain database schemas (OLTP/OLAP), write high‑performance SQL queries, and ensure data integrity and consistency.
• Set up secure, reliable export procedures for CSV/Parquet/JSON formats and automate data dumps for internal teams and external partners.
• Prepare datasets and data models, build interactive dashboards, configure filters, parameters, and publish reports on Tableau Server/Online.
• Advise team members on BI tools and reporting best practices, conduct training sessions for end users, and rapidly troubleshoot incidents.

Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years of experience as a BI Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar analytical role in fintech, payments, e-commerce, or related industries.
• Hands-on experience building dashboards and reports in Tableau, Power BI, Grafana, or Metabase.
• Strong command of SQL — writing complex queries, optimizing joins, working with analytical functions, and ensuring query performance.
• Understanding of relational and analytical data models (OLTP, OLAP).
• Experience automating data collection, processing, and reporting workflows and familiarity with ETL concepts.
• English: Upper-intermediate.
