What you will do

• Lead and contribute to business architecture and operating-model work across discovery, design, and delivery phases.
• Develop and maintain capability models, value streams, service maps, operating models, and transformation roadmaps.
• Translate complex organizational and delivery challenges into clear, structured, decision-ready artifacts.
• Work with product, delivery, technology, and policy teams to align change initiatives to strategic and organizational intent.
• Facilitate senior-level workshops to support portfolio prioritization, investment decisions, and organizational design.
• Assure quality, coherence, and traceability of business architecture artifacts across engagements.

Requirements

• Extensive Business Architecture knowledge gained from recognized bodies (BCS, BIZBOK, TOGAF).
• Experience leading business architecture as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Demonstrably able to select effective business modeling techniques.
• Experience defining and communicating business models and information flows for digital transformation.
• Experience managing the development and communication of usable business architectures.
• Experience delivering effectively in fast-paced environments, using agile and waterfall methodologies.

Nice to have

• Understanding of complimentary practices such as Systems Thinking, Complexity Theory, and Human Centered Design.
• Knowledge and understanding of GDS Service Standards.
• Experience in developing Business Architectures alongside teams working with development tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps or similar.
