What you will do
- Design, develop, and implement data and database solutions.
- Build and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture.
- Support and maintain data and database systems.
- Build infrastructure for ETL from diverse sources using Postgres and Python.
- Prepare data for predictive analysis and identify automation opportunities.
- Partner with BI & Finance teams for data-related issues.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in a Data Engineer role.
- Advanced SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases, including query optimizations.
- Experience with Data Transformations & Integrity testing using test-driven development.
- Proficiency in object-oriented scripting languages such as Python (or Java, C++).
- Prior experience with Amazon AWS RDS & Aurora.
- Demonstrated experience with a DAG-based orchestration tool (e.g., Apache Airflow, Dagster).
- Working knowledge of Docker, Git & SDLC Methodologies.
- Knowledge of non-SQL data sources (JSON, MongoDB, APIs) and data security (HIPAA).
- Must be based in the United States.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
