What you will do

• Build high-volume event collection, processing, and storage systems.
• Collaborate with application engineers to develop product features leveraging hirify.global's data.
• Design data pipelines and APIs.
• Develop foundational data infrastructure enabling other teams.
• Share responsibility for the availability and performance of the team's systems.

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience in software engineering or related technical discipline.
• Proven experience maintaining and delivering production software coding in languages including Go, Ruby, Rust, Python, JavaScript, C, C++, C#, or Java.
• Demonstrated experience with large-scale system architecture and design, particularly in cloud-based environments, with a strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices.
• Strong operational experience with data pipelines and distributed systems.
• Experience working closely with product management, design, and other engineering teams to drive cross-functional projects.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Kafka, Java, and the JVM.
