What you will do
- Contribute to academic advancement and the development of AI-enabled edge device technologies.
- Collaborate with fellow PhD students, Technical Directors, and NXP Fellows.
- Gain hands-on experience with real silicon and state-of-the-art industrial software stacks for machine learning.
- Actively support publications, academic exchange, and open innovation.
- Research heterogeneous accelerator architectures for robotics, ADAS, and industrial AI.
- Co-design hardware, software, and tools for real-time, safety-critical systems.
Requirements
- PhD student in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Enrolled at a university that supports internships during the PhD.
- Strong interest in real-time systems, embedded AI, and heterogeneous computing.
- Experience with hardware design (e.g., RTL, HLS, FPGA, ASIC).
- Conscious and reliable way of working due to security-related tasks and certifications.
