What you will do

• Troubleshoot, analyze, and optimize SQL and NoSQL queries across MariaDB, Postgres, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Redis, and InfluxDB.
• Collaborate with developers to understand database needs and challenges.
• Conduct database system analysis, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement effective solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for query performance and system design.
• Keep abreast with the latest technologies and trends in Database Management Systems (DBMS).

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a database developer, database administrator, or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and languages.
• Ability to guide software engineers in optimizing database performance through query structuring.
• Experience working with MariaDB, Postgres, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Redis, and InfluxDB.
• Knowledge of various programming languages such as Python and .NET.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and attention to detail, with excellent communication skills.
• Work authorization for EU/EFTA citizens, Cyprus work permit holders, or foreign nationals married to an EU citizen.
