What you will do

• Collaborate within an agile R&D team to enhance product quality through robust design, development, testing, and automation.
• Define comprehensive test cases to ensure adequate coverage of newly implemented features.
• Continuously assess and address gaps in test automation coverage.
• Execute manual and automated tests, monitor outcomes, evaluate results, and report findings.
• Analyze system error logs to support developers in identifying and resolving root causes.
• Maintain and evolve test automation frameworks and environments in accordance with industry best practices.
• Review product source code and collaborate with developers to define effective and scalable test strategies.
• Foster a quality-driven culture by supporting team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance.
• Proven technical background with relevant qualifications and certifications.
• Hands-on experience testing complex distributed systems, including both web-based and client-side applications.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities across diverse environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing test automation frameworks.
• Proficiency in Linux, web technologies, databases, networking, Bash scripting, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Hybrid work in office site: 2-3 days per week in Budapest, Hungary.

Nice to have

• Experience with test automation tools such as Nightwatch, Jest, and Playwright.
• Familiarity with load and performance testing using JMeter.
• Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Version control using Git and GitHub.
