What you will do

• Lead a high-performing team building AI platform and infrastructure.
• Contribute directly to production code and architectural work.
• Support ML Scientists and Engineers building AI capabilities.
• Plan, prioritize, and deliver high-impact roadmaps.
• Improve developer experience across the AI infrastructure stack.
• Empower engineers and expand ownership over time.

Requirements

• Experience leading engineering teams, ideally in infrastructure or platform domains.
• Recent hands-on coding experience (shipped production code in the last couple of years).
• Strong technical judgment and ability to coach senior engineers through complex architectural trade-offs.
• Adaptable leadership style suited to a group that will grow quickly.
• Curiosity and enthusiasm for AI, with a desire to learn how ML systems are developed and operated in production.
• Ability to work hybrid in Dublin, Ireland, with at least three days per week in the office.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in hands-on EM/IC role.
• Experience alternating between EM and IC roles during your career.
• Previous experience building AI powered products or platforms.
