TL;DR
Software Engineer (CMS & Web): Designing and implementing a next-generation CMS and deployment stack for a growing ecosystem of websites with an accent on rapid content growth, robust API development, and cost-efficient CI/CD pipelines. Focus on empowering non-technical users, optimizing performance, and integrating with modern front-end frameworks.
Location: Hybrid, based in Paris HQ with at least 3 days per week in the office

What you will do
- Design and implement a next-generation CMS, including content models, schemas, and publishing workflows.
- Develop and maintain content REST/GraphQL APIs with caching and CDN integration for global delivery.
- Integrate the CMS with modern front-end frameworks, ensuring seamless content previews and staging environments.
- Reimagine and optimize deployment pipelines for fast, safe, and cost-efficient CI/CD.
- Empower non-technical users with intuitive editing experiences, documentation, and training.
- Monitor performance and costs, continuously optimizing for reliability and efficiency.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building with headless CMS platforms (Directus, Strapi, Contentful, Sanity).
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js for designing services and APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Vercel, Netlify, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Fluent in English and able to work with distributed teams.
- Pragmatic, cost-conscious, and ownership-driven approach to solutions and resources.

- Familiarity with AI-assisted content workflows.
