Location: El Segundo, California, United States; hybrid work with office attendance 2–3 times per week

What you will do
- Monitor Western fashion platforms and streetwear culture to forecast emerging aesthetics for Global MapleStory.
- Create recommendation decks, seasonal aesthetic briefs, cosmetic reference packages, and recurring visual feedback for art teams.
- Curate and pitch Surprise Style Box rotations and permanent Cash Shop additions based on seasonality and Western holidays.
- Analyze cosmetic launch performance to identify themes and aesthetic patterns that drive engagement and revenue.
- Monitor Reddit, Discord, and Twitter to identify player wishlists and demand for legacy items or style categories.
- Guide the visual direction of player-facing Cash Shop materials.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in fashion buying, merchandising, or trend forecasting; gaming experience is preferred.
- Expert proficiency in creating mood boards using tools such as Pinterest, PureRef, or Milanote.
- Strong understanding of anime visual language and its intersection with Western fashion trends.
- Experience analyzing sales data and identifying aesthetic patterns in cosmetic performance.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, organization, and project and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in gaming or live-service games.
- Previous MapleStory play experience.
- Ability to identify when concept art appears generic or outdated.
