What you will do
- Act as an unbiased counterpart to internal teams and third-party providers, identifying inconsistencies, red flags, and risks.
- Design and implement data development pipelines, mandatory standards, documentation practices, and quality controls.
- Ensure that teams collect, transmit, and use data correctly, driving compliance with standards.
- Work directly with data through SQL queries, Python analyses, spreadsheets, dashboards, and visualizations.
- Partner with top management and department heads to directly affect business decisions, launch strategies, and scaling plans.
- Manage and scale the analytics team over time as the business grows.
Requirements
- Strong mathematical background (MIPT, HSE, MSU, or similar priority).
- Deep understanding of mathematical statistics and probability theory.
- Excellent SQL and Python skills.
- Experience building data processes, governance frameworks, and analytical standards.
- Ability to work with complex, ambiguous datasets and uncover hidden issues.
- Proven people management experience.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills with confidence to challenge assumptions.
- English level B2 or higher for effective collaboration with international teams required.
