Fullstack Software Engineer

TL;DR

Fullstack Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails, Vue.js): Develops features to solve customer problems, maintaining high code quality and mentoring other team members with an accent on full-stack development and familiarity with AI coding assistants. • Work with product, UX, and fellow developers to gain a deep understanding of customer problems and lead development of features to solve those problems.
• Hold a high bar of personal technical excellence, demonstrated through high quality, thoroughly tested, and exemplary code contributions and reviews.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in full-stack development with modern web technologies.
• Familiarity with modern AI coding assistants and prompt engineering.
• Solid understanding of databases, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Track record of shipping production code and delivering features end-to-end.
• An empathetic, pragmatic, and collaborative approach to problem solving.

Nice to have

• Experience with modern cloud technologies such as AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• An understanding of job systems for Ruby on Rails such as Sidekiq.
• A deep understanding of MySQL.
• Have experience in scaling a web application to thousands of users and millions of events.
• Knowledge of in memory datastores like Redis.
