What you will do

• Act as Designated Compliance Officer and Approved Person with the MFSA for hirify.global's operations in Malta.
• Oversee adherence to electronic money and crypto asset service provider license requirements.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance monitoring framework for all business activities, including digital asset services.
• Prepare quarterly and annual compliance reports for the Board of Directors and senior management.
• Develop and deliver training programs for employees to raise awareness of regulatory obligations.
• Represent hirify.global in its dealings with the MFSA and other relevant regulators.
• Assist in formulating and implementing a compliance strategy to support scaling in new jurisdictions.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in a compliance officer role within a regulated financial services environment, ideally in Malta.
• In-depth knowledge of the Maltese regulatory framework, especially in relation to E-Money Institutions, AML/CTF regulations, and the crypto-asset sector.
• Proven experience acting as an Approved Person or similar with a regulatory authority (MFSA, FCA, etc.).
• Demonstrable expertise in preparing and submitting regulatory reports, including AML and transaction monitoring reports.
• Experience working with blockchain and crypto-based financial products and services.
• Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly present regulatory findings.
• Fluency in both Maltese and English is highly desirable.
