Lead Game Designer (Gamedev)

Lead Game Designer (Gamedev): Leading the game design team and driving product growth through LiveOps, economy, and meta systems with an accent on game design quality, monetization, and system scalability. Location: Remote, with offices in Yerevan, Armenia and Cyprus. Relocation package and assistance with obtaining residence permits available for Armenia.

What you will do

• Lead the game design team, managing tasks, quality, and growth.
• Establish and roll out game design standards and clear processes.
• Design, improve, and maintain gameplay, meta systems, and LiveOps events.
• Own and grow the in-game economy, including reward budgets and monetization strategies.
• Manage features end-to-end from goals to post-release analysis.
• Contribute to product vision and strategic decisions.
• Introduce AI and automation into the team workflow for design and economy checks.

Requirements

• 5+ years in game development, with 3+ years in economy/monetization for mobile F2P games.
• Russian level C1 (spoken and written).
• Strong expertise in systemic/meta design, game economy, progression, and LiveOps.
• Proven experience leading a game design team, including planning and people development.
• Data-driven mindset for defining goals and making decisions based on metrics.
• Experience creating and implementing design standards and quality-control processes.

Nice to have

• Strong partnership model with a Product Manager.
• Experience building predictable planning processes.
• Comfort bringing order to legacy systems.
