Salary: $130,000–$165,000

What you will do

• Build upon and integrate customer feedback into API tooling and services.
• Create new architectural foundations and mission-critical distributed systems.
• Work within an agile scrum-based engineering team.
• Uphold the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
• Advocate, create, and maintain API governance across engineering.
• Own integrations within the API Gateway layer and API lifecycles.
• Identify improvements to the design and implementation of new and existing critical shared services.
• Help grow the infrastructure engineering organization's shared services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong understanding of API standards, design approaches, and integration patterns.
• Strong understanding of CAP Theorem and distributed systems design patterns.
• Proficient with TypeScript.
• Proficient with Golang.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Strong consideration for developer experience in everything you build.

Nice to have

• Pragmatic approach to software design, development & delivery.
• Experience working with Kafka and related event based patterns.
• Experience working with and designing Backend for Frontend (BFF) patterns.
• Experience working with modern AI technologies, specifically MCP protocol and standards.
