Salary: $108,400–$151,750 USD

What you will do

• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to develop customer-focused documentation.
• Guide the development of an information architecture for content organization.
• Improve authoring and production tools and processes using AI models and tools.
• Edit content contributed by engineering and the field for technical accuracy, grammar, and style.
• Create clear diagrams and visual aids for complex architectures and workflows.
• Stay current with rapidly evolving AI/ML technologies and translate new capabilities into clear documentation.

Requirements

• 4+ years of documenting sophisticated technologies for developers and software engineers, or equivalent technical depth.
• Ability to work in person in either our Bay Area or Seattle area offices.
• Expertise in technical writing craft, including maintaining a consistent voice, clear tone, and solid grammar.
• Experience with ML and generative AI concepts such as model training, MLOps, prompt engineering, or RAG architectures.
• Experience with data products and cloud computing.
• Proficiency in Markdown-style formats with Git and GitHub.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Python for data science.
• Familiarity with Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, HuggingFace, or MLflow.
• Background in journalism, technical communication, or content strategy.
• Experience creating instructional videos and visual media.
