Senior AML Solutions Engineer (Fintech): Responsible for building and operating scalable Financial Crimes Compliance (FCC) solutions with an accent on implementing end-to-end FCC data strategies, curating high quality single source of truth databases and developing ML/AI capabilities on AWS/Snowflake and related Cloud ecosystem. Focus on engineering ownership from design through production support, cloud migration strategies and management of financial crimes compliance risks.

What you will do

• Own and maintain end-to-end data flow architecture for all financial crimes compliance applications, ensuring they are in sync with production systems.
• Own and maintain end-to-end data products for the “Single Source of Truth” financial crimes compliance data fabric, including on-prem and cloud storage and real-time/batch compute.
• Design and develop storage and compute separation with data federation to avoid data duplication and resource conflicts, ensuring a cloud-native architecture.
• Architect and design innovative AI/ML solutions for proactive management of financial crimes compliance risks.
• Architect and execute cloud migration strategies for financial crimes compliance applications.
• Maintain controls for completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of data, integrations, and applications availability and performance.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a similar field of study.
• 15+ years of hands-on experience with large scale data, analytics, enterprise software design and implementation.
• Strong experience with Big Data/Cloud Engineering and distributed processing (Batch and streaming concepts).
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS (Data platforms, Compute, Storage, Security, Oozie, Process Orchestration and CI/CD).
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake including Snowpark, Snow SQL, RBAC, Masking and Snowsight.
• 5+ years of in-depth financial crimes compliance engineering experience in large global organizations supporting multi-jurisdiction regulations.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise solutions development using AI/ML, Python and Presto/Trino.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills to create consensus and build collaborative relationships.
