TL;DR
iOS/Swift Engineer (AI): Developing from scratch the next generation of AI technologies that empower Google users with an accent on designing, building, and delivering compelling new features for Gemini's applications, prioritizing performance and seamless user experiences. Focus on rapidly developing a new product in a fast-paced small team environment, solving challenging Applied ML problems, and growing a team from scratch.
Location: Onsite in Mountain View, California, US. This is an in office role for MTV and additional sites are not considered.
Salary: $166,000–$244,000 + bonus + equity + benefits

What you will do
- Develop next-generation AI technologies that empower Google users.
- Design, build, and deliver compelling new features for Gemini's applications, prioritizing performance and seamless user experiences.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate user needs into intuitive app features.
- Proactively participate in code reviews, enforce development best practices, and share knowledge.
- Rapidly develop a new product in a fast-paced, small team environment.
Requirements
- Experience working on iOS or macOS, especially Swift applications.
- Experience with building real AI systems or actual agents for products.
- Excitement and experience with creating something new from broad ideas ("zero to one").
- Highly cross-functional and able to work collaboratively across different teams.
- Readiness to "do the work" within a small-team environment.
