What you will do

• Lead the architectural design and development of complex backend systems using Elixir on GCP infrastructure.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance software solutions in Elixir.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior and mid-level engineers.
• Design and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines, preferably Kubernetes-based, and implement monitoring solutions.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies in Elixir and Cloud/DevOps, and identify opportunities for system enhancement.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate project status and technical challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of experience in software development, with a primary focus on Elixir and functional programming.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable backend systems using Elixir.
• Solid experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS, including cloud architecture design and networking.
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and fault tolerance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
