TL;DR

End User Support Analyst: Providing hands-on IT support for hardware, software, and networking issues for naval defense customers with an accent on technical issue resolution, system administration, and mobile device management. Focus on ensuring smooth IT operations, proactive patch management, and building strong relationships with executive staff.

Location: Predominantly onsite in Wake Forest, NC, with some travel (25%) to Chantilly, VA. Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance for defense programs and adhere to a drug-free workplace policy.

What you will do

  • Provide hands-on desk-side support for desktop/laptop hardware, operating systems, and third-party applications.
  • Perform general networking troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and mobile device support (iOS, Intune).
  • Install, connect, and move equipment, including workstations, telephony hardware, and peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues or escalate to appropriate teams/vendors.
  • Provide onsite white-glove support, assisting executives, staff, and visitors with IT questions.
  • Manage and implement patch management on local site infrastructure under IT functional teams' guidance.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain/maintain security clearance at the appropriate national/regional level.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 2+ years in a customer-facing IT role with MS Operating Systems and Windows applications.
  • Experience in system administration and networking fault diagnostics.
  • Knowledge of VMware, ESXi, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
  • Excellent customer service, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
