What you will do

  • Investigate and resolve advanced customer issues across various technologies like Postgres, Auth, RLS, Storage, Realtime, and Edge Functions.
  • Provide proactive advice to optimize workloads and avoid common pitfalls.
  • Reproduce bugs, isolate root causes, propose workarounds, and escalate to engineering with clear steps.
  • Identify patterns across tickets and recommend improvements to documentation, tooling, and the product.
  • Mentor junior team members and help raise overall support quality.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in technical support, backend engineering, SRE, or similar roles.
  • Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL internals.
  • Strong skills in high-performance SQL and query optimization.
  • Comfortable troubleshooting complex setups, including multi-tenant schema patterns.
  • Experience debugging edge functions and understanding distributed system behavior.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud hosting providers like AWS.
  • Comfortable in terminal and Linux environments.
  • Required location in EMEA time zones
